#1 HOW DO I APPLY MY CHILD AND I TO BE CONSIDERED FOR GREENVILLE FASHION WEEK (GFW) 2026?

​

There are three easy steps to apply. Please see all requirements (#5) to ensure that you meet all requirements before submitting your application. 

​

1. Complete the nonrefundable online application for you and your child. Please note that a serpate application is needed if you are applying with more than one child.  2. Upload headshot and full body image within application- These do not have to be professional photos.. 3. Pay the $50 nonrefundable application processing fee. 

​

*Please note that your application will not be reviewed until the online payment is completed.

#2 WHY IS THERE A MODEL APPLICATION FEE? ​

​

Our model application fee helps support the high level of production, education, and opportunity we provide to every applicant.

​

Greenville Fashion Week is known for its top-notch production value, professional runway shows, and elevated standards. The application fee helps offset the costs associated with:

• Model training and preparation, including runway education and professional guidance

• Industry-level casting and selection process, reviewed by experienced professionals

• High-quality show production, including staging, lighting, sound, and coordination

• Administrative and operational costs that allow us to run an organized, fair, and professional application process

This fee ensures we can maintain the integrity, professionalism, and quality that Greenville Fashion Week is known for—while continuing to create meaningful opportunities for models at every level.

 

 

#3 WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION?  

 

Entries must be received no later than 8 p.m. (EST) on March 22, 2026 in order to secure an audition time. Auditions will take place on Saturday, March 28– call time to be determined by GFW. Audition times will be sent out on March 11, 2026.

#4 WHAT IF I MISS THE DEADLINE? ARE MY CHILD AND I  STILL ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND AUDITIONS?

​

To secure an audition, you MUST submit an online application by the deadline outlined above. Video submissions will NOT be accepted. There will be NO makeup auditions- models must audition in person at their designated audition time.

* Models must meet the age requirement (see #5 for details), pay a $40 non-refundable application-processing fee, and complete the official GFW Kid/ Tween Model Application. Models that do not meet these requirements will not be seen by GFW.

#5 WHAT REQUIREMENTS MUST MY CHILD AND I POSSESS TO BE CONSIDERED?  

​

To be considered for Mommy + Me modeling, children must be female and ages 4–8 as of April 1, 2026. Children should be disciplined, independent, and able to follow directions well. Moms may be any age.

​

*Parents, please remember that this is an audition process and that GFW will only be accepting a limited number of Mommy+Me Models to participate in the runway show. All applicants must have parent or legal guardian’s permission to apply, and must be at the audition to sign a waiver or the model will not be permitted to audition.

*The application fee is nonrefundable.

#6 HOW DO I PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS?

​

All models must bring a 5x7 color headshot and a 5x7 full-body shot to the auditions. These do not have to be professional photos. Be sure to practice your walk, poses, and overall presentation! To further prepare, you may also attend one of our audition prep workshops for the Kid/Tween models taking place on March 22.

#7 IF MY CHILD AND I ARE SELECTED FOR AN AUDITION, WHEN/HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED?

​

All applicants will receive an email notification on March 25, 2026, with their audition details for March 28, 2026. The email will include the audition time, location, and assigned registration time. Audition times, determined solely by Greenville Fashion Week, will take place between 10 AM and 5 PM and will be organized by age group.

​

*All communication from GFW is conducted via email. Please ensure the email address provided in your application is correct, as failure to do so will result in not receiving important information from GFW.

#8 WHAT DO I WEAR TO AUDITIONS? 

​

Models are required to wear blue denim pants and a solid white shirt, paired with shoes of their choice. Jeans must be free of any holes, and the shirt should not have any logos. Please keep makeup natural, avoid wearing jewelry, and ensure hair is pulled back away from the face.

​

 

#9 IF SELECTED AS A GFW MODEL, WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

​

All Mommy + Me models are required to attend Model Training Day on Sunday, June 7, 2026, as well as the rehearsal on the afternoon of Friday, July 24 from 1:30PM-3:30PM. Fittings will take place during the week of July 12-20, 2026, and each model will be assigned one fitting appointment within this timeframe. 

​

The Mommy + Me portion of our Kid/Tween Runway Show will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Please note that fittings will be scheduled between July 12-20. You and your child will be assigned one fitting date within this timeframe based on the retailer they are modeling for. Specific times will be provided one month in advance.

#10 HOW MANY TIMES WILL WE WALK IF SELECTED?  

​

Greenville Fashion Week only guarantees that each selected model will walk once.

​

#11 WHERE WILL FITTINGS AND REHEARSALS BE HELD? WHAT DATES AND WHAT TIMES?

​

All events will take place in Greenville, South Carolina. Exact location and time will be sent to models via e-mail at a later date. Time-blocks are assigned by and at the sole discretion of GFW. Mark your calendar NOW for the following:

Model Training Day: Sunday, June 7 (8AM-1PM)

Fittings: July 12-20 

Rehearsal: Friday afternoon, July 24  (1:30PM-3:30PM)

Runway Show- Saturday afternoon, July 25

*Please note that fittings will be scheduled between July 12-20. Your child will be assigned one fitting date within this timeframe based on the retailer they are modeling for. Specific times will be provided one month in advance.

#12 ARE THERE ANY FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS TO PARTICIPATE AS A MODEL?   

​

A nonrefundable $40 application processing fee is required to apply for GFW for each child and parent. Additionally, all models are responsible for covering any costs related to auditions, rehearsals, fittings, and participation during the event week. This includes transportation to and from Greenville, meals, lodging, and parking fees.

​

 

#13 IF SELECTED FOR A SPECIAL EVENT, PHOTOSHOOT, OR RUNWAY SHOW, WILL TRAVEL TO/FROM GREENVILLE AND ACCOMMODATIONS BE COVERED?

​

All models are responsible for travel to/from Greenville, parking and lodging the week of GFW. Visit the GFW website for hotel partners and our host hotel, who may offer a preferred rate.

#14 WILL I RECEIVE A TICKET TO THE EVENT AS A GFW MODEL?

 

Models or parents do not receive a ticket to GFW.
